Decoding the population dynamics underlying ocular following response using a probabilistic framework
Following the idea presented in (Perrinet, 2009, CoSyNe), we study the effect of predictions on the dynamics of a model of a neural population detecting the optical flow. A novel contribution is there to see how the prediction, that is the transition matrix of the markov field model, could be derived from the statistics of natural images.
